Dunkin' Donuts at 2139 East Plaza Boulevard, National City, California.

The manager happened to be the one taking my order. He had perfect manners and was very expedient and professional. He tolerated a couple question from me without the slightest hint of impatience. After I finished ordering I noticed they had a French cruller donut. I indicated I would like one as well, he took care of me.

I sat to wait for my breakfast sandwich which apparently got lost in the shuffle. When I stepped up to inquire about it (after 5-7min or so) he had just stepped out from the back of the store. He was a touch incredulous but held his words and did not exhibit any exasperation toward his shift workers. It seemed they understood his feelings about it without him saying a word. A mark of a leader. Before the sandwich was prepared and without hesitation he offered to refill my $5 coffee. Gracious again. This man (Luis) truly understands customer service, runs a good shift (this is Monday mid morning), and is a measured and mature leader. This location has an asset in him. This coming from someone with years in fast food customer service and 13 in the military. Well done.
