Big Ben Market at 108 East 8th Street, National City, California.

I came here on a recommendation by a co-worker who claimed Big Ben Market had the beat tacos he has ever had. So naturally I had to check this claim out.

Well, the tacos weren't the beat I had, but they were pretty good. Actually, they tasted better simply.because the cashier that greeted me suggest I get the happy hour tacos (street tacos) which would only coat me a dollar a piece so instead of buying 2, I bought four and it was worth it.

The store is very small, but they have a really well stocked produce section in the middle of the store. The place was clean, didn't smell foul, and it felt nice and quaint.

The part I enjoyed learning is that the food served at the restaurant next store is actually a lot of the same food that the market sells so that made me feel better about possibly shopping here in the future.
